Grooming Services

Fancy Pet Grooming Salon provides professional, cage-free dog grooming services in and around Lynchburg, Virginia. All grooming is performed one-on-one, meaning your dog receives undivided attention throughout the entire appointment.

Appointments & Scheduling

Appointments are scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis. We groom during scheduled trips to Lynchburg, VA. Please book in advance to secure your preferred date and time.

• Appointments can be booked via phone, Facebook, or our contact form
• A confirmation will be sent prior to your appointment
• Please arrive on time; late arrivals may need to be rescheduled

Cancellation Policy

We understand plans change. We kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. Late cancellations and no-shows may affect future booking priority.

Health & Safety

For the safety of all pets, please inform us of any:

• Known health conditions, allergies, or sensitivities
• Behavioral concerns (anxiety, aggression, fear of specific tools)
• Recent injuries or surgical sites
• Current medications
• Vaccination status (we recommend dogs be up to date on core vaccines)

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service if we believe a dog poses a safety risk to themselves or the groomer. In such cases, you will be contacted immediately.

Matting & Coat Condition

Severely matted coats may require shaving for your dog's comfort and safety. If we encounter matting that cannot be safely brushed out, we will use the most humane approach. Additional charges may apply for extensive dematting work. See our dematting page for more details.

Pricing

Grooming prices vary based on your dog's size, breed, coat condition, and services requested. A price estimate will be provided before grooming begins. Final pricing may adjust if the coat condition differs significantly from what was described. See our pricing page for current rates.

Liability

While we take every precaution to ensure your dog's safety and comfort, grooming involves inherent risks including minor nicks, clipper irritation, or stress reactions. We will notify you immediately if any incident occurs and recommend veterinary attention if needed.

Fancy Pet Grooming Salon is not liable for pre-existing conditions, reactions to products (though we use gentle, professional-grade products), or issues arising from undisclosed health conditions.

Photos & Media

We may take before-and-after photos of your dog for our portfolio and social media. If you prefer your dog not be photographed, please let us know. See our privacy policy for more details.
